Gender and Inclusion

Promoting gender equality and social inclusion is integral to achieving significant and sustainable advancements in health, education, governance, the environment and the economy, and we are committed to achieving these goals in each of our programs.

We have significant experience and expertise in the implementation of gender and social inclusion considerations as cross-cutting issues within development programs. Our specialists provide technical assistance and consulting across programs and provide training and support to program staff on mainstream gender and social inclusion considerations.

Working in collaboration with key government, private sector and civil society actors, our programs enable women and men in the developing world to work for improved gender equality and women’s empowerment. This includes work to improve opportunities for the political, economic and social advancement of women and girls.
